The dedicated digital rig is paying off big time, as DX contacts are coming in on all bands. Monitoring 24\/7.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">dedicated digital rig<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Flex 6500 &#8211; Four Slice Receivers: Two running WSJT-X, one running MMSSTV, and the fourth running EasyPal. Add a Comet CHA-250BX Vertical @ 10ft and that&#8217;s it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Barefoot Digital: 100 Watts into a Vertical<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I wanted this to be a simple barefoot operation with a dedicated radio and antenna. I&#8217;m using a <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Dell 7050 micro PC (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dell.com\/en-us\/work\/shop\/desktop-and-all-in-one-pcs\/optiplex-7050-micro-desktop-computer\/spd\/optiplex-7050-micro\" target=\"_blank\">Dell 7050 micro PC<\/a> and have the Flex displays <em>&#8220;cranked down&#8221;<\/em> in order to limit CPU usage to a range of 40-60%.
